I don't have experience with the Autel Maxi Level 2, 40 amp charger, but I'd love to hear how it performs.
Well,I’ll answer my own question, The Autel AC Maxi Level 2, 40 amp charger works well! The charger is well made, heavy input cable (read that as good) with a NEMA 14-50 receptacle. The vehicle connector and cable are equally heavy duty and well made. The included charger wall mount is well designed, easy to install and easy to mount the charger on. The Autel App allows you to enter TOU KWH prices and then will keep track of each charge, recording VAC, KWs, duration of each charge and the cost of the charge with running totals for day, month and year. I use the charger as a dumb charger and allow the Prologue to “control” the charger. The App has the capacity to “schedule” charging but my fear is creating a conflict where the car and the charger are debating who is in control. The only “quirk”, and it’s probably not a quirk is at completion of charge, the car “suspends” the charge and I subsequently turn the charge event off. The charge data does not appear until I turn the charge off in the app. I am very satisfied with the unit and its integration with the Prologue.
