Honda Prologue Center Screen Blacking Out

Hey guys,

I've been dealing with this bizarre glitch on my Honda Prologue. The center screen keeps blacking out and going totally unresponsive! It eventually wakes back up, but man, it’s such a pain. Has anyone else run into this? I’ve seen some chatter about "ghosts" on the display needing a fuse pull and recalibration.

Has anyone here tackled this headache or any idea what’s up?

This is new to me. I have never heard about this issue before.
If you have heard the "ghosts" on the display, then try this. Resetting the system is a method for many issues and glitches. Also, you could check if there is any software update available. As for the calibration part... I don't know what to say. Is there anything you can find in the manual? Keep us updated...

I haven't personally dealt with this issue, but I have heard of others experiencing similar glitches with the center display on different models.

It seems like a software reset or even a hard reboot has worked for some.

I would follow @Moonlink34's advice, too.

Lastly, a visit to the dealership might help, especially if it needs more than just a reset or if there is a hardware issue.

I’ve been taking my prologue back and forth to the dealer. It’s on its FOURTH repair for this issue. No end in sight. Extremely frustrating. They replaced the entire center console unit and despite that, it still blacks out. They said the center console is the brain of the car, so if replacing it didn’t fix the issue, this is really concerning.

For me, my center panel is blacked out. And the display in front of the steering wheel blacks out every 7 seconds for about 3 seconds.
