Hello:

I bought my wife a Honda Prologue. She wanted an EV because of the positive experience with my car which is also an EV (Audi Q4). No matter how I drive the car, I never get more than 3 miles/KWh. With my car, I average 3.5 miles/KWH.

She recently took a road trip to my son's college graduation and she was getting 2.2 miles/kwh. It was so bad that the car ran out of juice with a rage of less than 180 miles on a 100 percent charge.

Is there anyone else with similar experience. Has anyone gotten better than 3.0 miles/kwh? Is it a problem with our car?

The miles/kWh is dependent on several factors, temperature and speed being the most important. I have gotten almost 4 miles/kWh with temps in the 60s and driving below 60 mph. Right now temps are in the 30’s and I am getting as low as 2.5 miles/kWh. This is with an Elite which has the 21 inch rims.

Hmmm the Honda Prologue's efficiency could be impacted by various factors. You can try optimizing driving conditions, tire pressure, and maybe contact Honda.

We live in Florida so the temperature was not a factor. The tires have 41 PSI.

Since it was a road trip, she was going 70mph. And got 2.2 miles/Kwh

During our regular driving, when we get 3 miles per kwh, our average speed is 45 milse
Per hour.
