Is this normal with my AC?

In previous Hondas, the auto setting always recirculates air in the vehicle to avoid bringing in humid from outside. But on my 2024 Prologue the auto setting has recirculation turned off by default, and I guess this means it is bringing outside air.

Is this normal?

I've noticed that too, but honestly, I haven't had any probs with it hitting the right temp. But still, it makes me think that kicking things off with some recirculation could be the ultimate way to go!

I noticed this too, but you should be able to manually adjust the recirculation settings.

Thanks @Kimiko, I found out it’s normal for some newer vehicles, like the 2024 Prologue, to have different default settings for the auto climate control system, and if the auto setting has recirculation turned off by default, it means it's designed to bring in outside air.

I was able to manually adjust it.

Yeah, that's a neat feature of the 2024 Prologue. I can totally see how starting with recirculation might seem like a smart move. But it is great that you adjust it manually. Sometimes, those little tweaks make all the difference in comfort while driving.

There are other interesting features.
For example, the infotainment system seems to be more intuitive than previous models.
I love how it integrates with my phone for navigation and music. Also, the adaptive cruise control is a good feature.

I guess it's just a different approach with the Prologue. I’ll keep adjusting it manually to find that sweet spot for comfort.

I’ve also noticed the infotainment system feels more user-friendly. The phone integration is definitely a nice touch....oh yeah the adaptive cruise control is a solid upgrade.
