New Prologue Battery Replacement

I just got my new Honda Prologue like two weeks ago, and I'm already hitting some bumps! The HV battery's shot and it’s on backorder - ugh! No clue how long I’ll be waiting for the new one, and I’m thinking about switching to a different Prologue if I can. Anyone else run into this with their ride, or got any advice? Talk about bad luck for a fresh set of wheels!

I wouldn't like to be in your place. I am sorry this happened to you. Personally, I would try to switch to a different Prologue. I think it is better than waiting for the battery. If not, at least get a rental while you wait for the battery.

So, did you order the battery already? If yes, then ask them how long it will take it to arrive.

In that situation, I'd request a loaner car and see if I can get a different Prologue. You might be able to use the lemon law, but I think you should wait a bit.

I just got my prologue too, and now I am a bit worried about the battery situation. I haven't had any issues yet, but this definitely makes me think I should keep an eye on it.

I hope you get it sorted soon. Maybe asking for a rental or a loaner is the best way to go in the meantime. Let us know how it turns out.
