Hey, I'm trying to get the Wifi hotspot going on my Prologue, but I'm kinda stuck. Has anyone actually managed to get this thing working? If so, any tips or instructoins you can share, pls?
Oh, seriously? That’s a bit of a bummer! I was kinda hoping to skip out on any extra subscription stuff. Do you happen to know if there’s any workaround, or is it totally tied to the OnStar plan?
Yeah, unfortunately, it’s pretty tied to the OnStar subscription. You might be able to use your phone’s hotspot as a workaround; though! It won’t integrate as seamlessly with the car, but it can save you from the extra cost.
