our garage temps can easily reach over 115°F in the summer. I’m considering whether a split air conditioner or a large exhaust fan could be worth the investment to keep the heat down. I know the car’s battery has a 100,000-mile warranty, but I’m curious if anyone thinks the high temps could impact long-term battery health or even the car’s overall performance. The quote for a split A/C install is around $2,000-3000. Do you think it’s worth it? Has anyone else in a hot climate made this investment for their garage, and did it help?

Improving your garage's insulation can help keep it cooler. Talk to an HVAC pro to figure out the best way to cool it down.
