I recently had my Honda portable charger replaced due to an issue with level 1 charging. I mostly use my level 2 charger but wanted to test level 1 for speed comparison. While checking out the charge settings, I discovered the "Set Home Location" feature, which is a game changer! It lets the car follow charge settings like "Charge Later" when at home but automatically switches to "Charge Now" when you're away, without needing to adjust anything. Did I miss this, or is this new to others too?

That’s pretty cool, but I wonder if it’s consistent in practice. Some automakers have similar location-based charging features, but they don’t always work reliably. Hopefully, Honda fine-tuned this well, so it doesn’t misinterpret locations.

That feature is awesome! It’s been around for a while, but it’s easy to miss. Many users discover it after setting up their home charging routines.

That "Set Home Location" feature sounds amazing! I haven't heard of it before, so it might be relatively new or just something some of us missed. It's a totally new for managing charging especially if you're like you and mostly use Level 2 but want the flexibility of Level 1. The car automatically switch between "Charge Later" at home and "Charge Now" when you're out and about is super convenient. I'm definitely going to check if my Prologue has that option too. Thanks for sharing the tip!
