Man, it's been quite hot here lately. But my Prologue's temperature display is acting all crazy. It's showing 10 degrees instead of, like, 29 or whatever it actually is outside. What's up with that? Is this normal for the Prologue, or am I missing something obvious? Is there a setting I need to change, or is my car's thermometer just totally out of whack?

Yeah that’s not normal a 20-degree difference is a big gap. If you’ve already driven around and it’s still off it could be a faulty ambient temp sensor or a software issue. Some cars get stuck reading low temps after a battery disconnect so if you’ve had any resets or updates that could be the cause.

I’d try a hard infotainment reset (hold the power button for 10+ seconds) and see if it refreshes. Otherwise might be time for a dealer visit to check the sensor calibration.

Sometimes it happens to me as well. But it fixes itself overnight. I assumed it was a software glitch, and that's why I don't bother with it.
