Good morning all. Wife got a “high voltage” alert on her screen yesterday….the screen in the instrument cluster. Anyone ever get this message? It was cold in KC yesterday (-5 in the morning), so I wonder if the air temp had anything to do with it. She’s about to leave for work, and it’s much “warmer” today (15 degrees lol). I will update if the message goes away. Take care all and be safe!

Jerry

UPDATE: the warning light is off now. I called Honda service at my dealership but no one called me back. I think the service guys are clueless on the “gremlins” in the Prologue.

I had the same message brought it to dealership sat there for 25 days in Mount Kisco NY. It seems Honda does not know how to fix it or the people at the dealership dont care. Today i got a error message saying reduced power due to outside Temperature. I think its time the Lemon law kicks in.

I agree 100%. Honda should be ashamed of sending this vehicle to market with so many glitches. Surely they knew? I guess they’re taking full advantage of Honda’s goodwill with customers. I’ve had various Honda cars since the early 90s….to say I’m disappointed with them is an understatement.

I got the same issue and they told me vehicle is not safe to drive because of a faulty ac check valve. They said if there is no cooling system for battery could be dangerous. Unfortunately, the part they need is on back order. I am waiting for Honda to give me loaner but its going through corporate approval. I am really disappointed in having this issue after 3000 miles of having a brand new $57,000 dollar car.

Hey, I just went through the same issue starting on Monday. I guess there is temporary fix. They can open the restriction on the cooling line. I guess it got bent during assembly and it shorts out the bypass valve.
It's only been 24hrs since I got the car back but it's operating properly.
So sad we all like the prologue and enjoy having an EV. Probably won't buy Hondas new one coming out.

We’re supposed to be -10 tomorrow morning. Curious to see if my wife gets the message on her way into work. It’s a shame, she loves the car! We’re kinda waiting for the next problem to arise.

@EV daddy good to hear they fixed it. I doubt the crew at our dealership would have any idea. On one phone call, they told my wife they’d have to call Honda “engineering” to figure out an issue. It was a Saturday, so obviously the engineers weren’t working. LOL.

Maybe show them this. You might call around to different Honda dealerships and see if they have an EV tech.
Some dealerships trained there techs on EV.
Not sure where you located but West hills Honda in Bremerton, WA got us on the road. I also didn't even buy it there so they are really cool in my book.

Thanks @EV daddy. Wife the same warning message today and now the car won’t charge. Really POd. We’re at the dealership now. These guys have no effing clue.

Update everyone. Our Prologue has been at Honda of Olathe (in greater Kansas City) since Saturday, Feb. 22nd. Up to this point, they have not been able to pinpoint or fix the no-charging issue. Now they're saying it's a bad "AC check value", and the part has been ordered. We're supposed to have the car back tomorrow, Feb. 28th. Fingers crossed.

Gd luck. You got yours quick!
Ours had the same issue and the part is on back order. No eta is available. Been a few weeks already.
Luckily, the EV tech did some research and did a temporary fix.
