Hello, guys! I am new to this Honda forum.
So, before the Prologue was released I prepared myself with research and stuff. Even though I went to see all 3 trim levels out of the number one dealer here in San Diego a month before, they couldn't make any sales. I had a connection with someone from out there, but I felt down noticing the low quality of service. It is not anymore as it was 4 years ago when I sold a Mazda CX-5 and bought a 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid.
Recently I had a day off, and I had to visit a family member in the hospital. On my way there I stopped at a dealership in Laguna Niguel. Surprisingly, the sales guy out there was really upfront and nice and was no BS and not upselling at this dealership. After, a test drive, the appraisal was made on my 2020 Accord Hybrid EX (close to 75k miles), and some wear and tear also on the front lower passenger side bumper, and rear bumper scratches and dings. I also had a positive experience with the finance department. It was easy to work with them. They didn't even ask for a credit check. I brought it after 30 minutes. Having a credit score of 800' facilitated the process. What I liked the most was that they didn't even try to sell something extra. My monthly car payment went up to only $40 more.
In the end, I leased a white touring trim level, with zero money down. I received a $7500 instant credit through Honda. So, my old 2020 Accord Hybrid EX was paid off by them and I still had some equity.
I normally don't do that, but the situation was different. I am expecting that in the future the newer models will have better technology and design. The cool thing is that I even had to choose between a free home Honda charging kit, a portable one, and a $750 pre-paid card to use at charging stations. I went with the last option.
I am impressed and pleased by the car's performance. The driving is quiet. And even though I was a little bit disappointed with the steering wheel tech (because it has the back volume adjuster on it and no tuning options to skip to the next track on a playlist ), at least I got a lovely interior. Also, the wireless charging cradle option is nice but the tech is unreliable. I prefer using a USB-C port for faster charging (I kept getting messages saying that the phone was not charging).
I will charge the car mostly at my work using a slow Charge point (16-17 cents per kW). And it is ok... because my way to work is only 3.5 miles from where I live now.
That's all! I hope it helps somehow.
