On my way to the movies today I got a propulsion system warning light on my Honda Prologue and yeah… my heart rate definitely went up for a second! But after a little research it turns out this is something that can happen due to a glitch in communications rather than a serious mechanical failure.

If you ever see this pop up, don’t panic! You can try basic troubleshooting first:
✅ Restart the vehicle (turn it off, wait a minute, and restart)
✅ Check for any software updates
✅ Make sure all connections are good

A lot of the time, this clears things up, and you’re good to go. If it doesn’t go away, then it’s worth a deeper look or a call to the dealer.

@Josh_Stone …thanks for the heads up! We’ve had several issues pop up in our 1.5 months of ownership, but we’ve been able to figure them out. It sounds like a lot of these are software driven.
