Increasing my Prologue's range

How can I get more range? New wheels are a possibility, and I'm wondering if removing the dealer crossbars would help with aero and range.

Anything to make it more aero will help as well as slowing down. It's shaped like a brick and is higher off the ground. great for state and county routes or city but not a high speed, distance road machine. How much range do you want/need?

Yeah, crossbars can totally munch on your range, especially when you're cruising on the highway. All that extra drag makes your ride work harder. so you'll definitely see a hit to your efficiency.
