We're having some trouble with my 2023 Touring's memory seats. The Seat Exit memory works perfectly, but the Seat Entry memory just won't cooperate. I've followed the manual to the letter, but the seat just refuses to go back to my saved position when we start the car.

Uh-oh, it seems the memory seat Seat Entry function is acting up – I’ve seen lots of people saying it’s not working right. Fingers crossed Honda’s got the scoop on this and can roll out a software update to fix it up!

This is a common issue. If you configure your car's memory seat to go all the way back and down, you should be able to follow a shorter driver without difficulty. However, once you get in the car, the memory seat may not work.

A friend of mine had the same issue. It seems like the Seat Entry memory function can be a bit finicky for some models.

Have you tried resetting the memory settings altogether and re-saving your position?

Full resets always help. At least it did for my friend.

Good luck, and let us know if you find a solution.

Do you guys know how many people have this issue? Because I wonder if it wouldn't be a software calibration problem that's tied to specific driving habits or patterns.

Have you tried experimenting with different sequences, like turning on the car after you close the door vs. before?
