Memory Seats, Charging Flap & Valet Mode Not Working – Help?

I've noticed a few quirks with my Prologue, and I'd like to know if these are design features or if something is wrong with my car. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.


Memory Seats Aren't Auto Adjusting - According to the manual, after enabling the "entry memory" option, the seats should automatically adjust to position 1 when key 1 is detected and to position 2 for key 2. In my case, it does not occur. I still have to press (and hold) the button to get it to adjust. Is this the same for everybody?

Charging Door Does Not Lock - I've noticed that even when the car is locked, the charging door remains open. I can still open the flap without difficulty, and it feels like a security flaw. When I park in a public place, I'd like that port to be locked. Is this normal?

Valet Mode Issues - Valet mode requests a PIN that I was never given. I couldn't find anything in the manual about setting it up beforehand. Did anyone else encounter this issue, and is there a workaround? I should have my car checked.?

As for the valet mode, I haven’t had a chance to give it a shot myself yet.

I'd recommend taking it to your dealer and try comparing it with other Prologue units to see if it has the same issue as yours.

I have experienced similar issues with my Prologue, especially with the memory seats not automatically adjusting.
It might be a software glitch or possibly an issue with the settings (make sure everything is configured correctly in the settings menu).
As for the charging door, I haven't found any concrete information in the manual either.
For valet mode, if it doesn't ask you for a PIN, then try to factory reset it.

This charging door and memory seat issue has been a common issue among Prologue owners. @Cj_miles is right, take it to your dealer.

Glad I’m not the only one dealing with the seat memory issue! The exit memory works perfectly for me too, but the entry one just won’t adjust automatically. It’s a bit of a hassle having to press the button every time, but I wonder if it’s something they’ll address with a software update down the road.

As for the charging flap, I was thinking the same thing. nothing in the manual about it locking. It does feel like a bit of a security oversight, especially in public spaces. Hopefully, that’s something Honda will improve in future models.

Valet mode is still a mystery to me too! I couldn’t figure out the PIN setup either, so I might have to ask the dealership about it next time I’m in.
