OnStar and Charging Credit

Hey guys, so I got my car last week. I was able to link the Honda App with EVgo and the EVgo credit has shown up.
But the Electrify America 60kw credit hasn't shown up? I wonder why

I get that we have full blown OnStar for 30 days. The Stolen Vehicle feature on OnStar lowers insurance but I am wondering if there is any other reason to keep it? I know I need a WiFi for Google Maps to run, but I was really expecting it just uses the cellular connection on my phone. Honestly, the only reason for Google maps is that charging locations pop up.

For the Electrify America Credit, I think there might be a delay in syncing with the system. I would check with the support. As for the OnStart, I think you can give it up. Google maps can work using your phone's cellular connection. But, have you tried that?

Usually, it takes a lot for them to reply... so, I guess his issue is still on.

I've been having a lot of issues with the app. I mostly use it to cool down the car for my Shih Tzu, but the key fob button does the same thing. It's very annoying that the app doesn't work. Honda and OnStar appear to be more concerned with protecting their brands than with assisting customers. They're not doing a good job.

Yes, I reached out to support! They mentioned there might be a delay in processing, so I'm keeping an eye on it. Still waiting for the Electrify America credit to show up, but I’ll let you know when it does.

Quick update! I finally got the Electrify America 60kW credit to show up. The support team were able to fix it on their end. As for OnStar, I’ve decided to let it go since phone’s cellular connection works perfectly fine for Google Maps, and I’m not missing any charging locations. So, no need to keep paying for OnStar just for that! I hope that is the right call?
