Hey everyone, I need advise with configuring the Enel X Way app for my Honda Prologue. The app support hasn't been very helpful, or it's kinda hard to understand. so I'm asking the community for guidance on the settings:
  • Configuration: Should I set it to "Unlock to Charge" or "Plug & Charge"?
  • Default Power: Is it better to display in kW or A?
  • Scheduled Charging: If I prefer to use the car's proprietary schedule, should I disable this feature in the app?
  • Vehicle Settings:
    • Charging Rate: Currently set to 11.00 kW
    • Battery Capacity: Set to 85.00 kWh
    • Charging Efficiency: Set at 93%
    • Driving Range: Listed as 296 miles
    • Plug Type: Displays as CCS1, but the JuiceBox charger only has the round top part. Is this correct?
I appreciate any insights or recommendations you can provide.

It sounds like you're doing a great job trying to optimize your charging setup! Based on my experience, “Plug & Charge” is a great option for ease of use, especially if you’re someone who doesn’t want to fiddle with the app every time you plug in. Keeping the power displayed in kW is also super practical, it’s much clearer for understanding how much energy you’re drawing compared to amperes. If the Prologue’s built-in schedule works smoothly for you, I’d suggest sticking with it and disabling the app’s scheduled charging to avoid any potential conflicts. As for the plug type, CCS1 is absolutely the right designation, it might seem off because of the JuiceBox’s design, but it’s perfectly fine for your car.
