Hi, guys!
My wife owns a Tesla right now. But we want to buy a new one because this is getting old. We both went for a driving test today, but we weren't that satisfied with it. Why? The Prologue's LKAS didn't seem to work while. like I felt it was not intervening in tile while driving. The decision to buy this or not is based on the possibility of being able to make it more sensitive. Is this a feature? Or will it get improved over time?

Please let me know. Thanks!

This topic was discussed a lot. The LKAS is poor if you compare it to the previous Honda.
It might be part of GM's software.
No one has stated a way to make it more aggressive.
Anyway, there is a lot more to the car than that one feature.

I don't believe it will be updated or changed. LKAS means it will keep you between the lines. It is no Lane Centering. I had that on my 2017 CRV and loved it. LKAS just keeps me from driving into the ditch if I'm not paying attention. And it isn't 100% effective. I hope they will change it but don't think they will.

I am still waiting and hoping!

Coming froma 2021 crv -the lkas there was a life saver, also the stop and go feature was so smooth.
Using the gm safety features here is nerve wracking, the lkas keeps weaning left and right, like a drunk driver.
I do drive long distances on highways and the crv was amazing- no tesla but i could trust it.
On the prologue the adaptive cruise control sometimes is off sometimes its on, there is no knowing if its on or off .
Very frustrating situation, especially when i find out that the Cadillacs lyriq, which costs the same get fully automatic hands free super cruise.
I dont know what to do with this situation, paying the same as many EVs in the price range but they come with autopilot mode.

just started the lease, and i think this wont work out.
From knowing honda, there are no updates on anything.
Any ideas?

Man, I feel you. You can understand this from the conversation. I am still hoping Honda will come with an update in the future. Maybe, if more people will "push" them, they will do something.
