I am waiting for my Honda Home Charger’s 220 line to be installed, so I have been charging with a mobile charger...and charging on the 120 line has been going smoothly in my garage, but during my last charging session, I was surprised to find the fog lights on and the charging display lit when I opened the garage door without my keys. After grabbing my keys, I opened the driver’s side door and saw that the climate control was running. It seems like the car's sensors activated everything when it hit a certain temperature.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Oh...that's a strange one! Have you peeked at the vehicles settings to see if there's a way to tweak those features while its charging? It could totally be worth flipping through the owner's manual for any tips on the automatic climate control and exterior lights stuff.

Okay, I’ll check the settings and manual to see if there's anything related to automatic climate control or lights.

My son's car does the same thing. Sounds like he needs to turn off that preconditioning stuff.

Does anyone know where you actually turn that off? Is it in the car itself, or is it something you do in the app? Or maybe both?

I’ll check if preconditioning is enabled. Any idea if it’s an option in the app or just the car?
Sounds like you have the car set for a preset charge completion time and climate "preconditioning". turn that off if it's on, that would be the trigger i think.

This did happen to me once, I heard a weird sound while close to the garage and looked in to find it just on full bore for climate control and basically everything

I actually shrugged it off and now wish I hadn't because I have had all safety systems completely freak out

Honda has had my prologue almost as long as I have just trying to get the electrinics to work
