Hi all,

I am a full-time EV owner, and loving the new vehicle. My family has owned many Honda cars in the past, and this was our first time looking at a different type of vehicle that did not consume gas. It does feel good to drive the car, but learning to plan ahead before a trip and trying to figure out the various time of charging options available is a bit challenging. However, being in a space where I am learning and growing as a car owner is good. I am still waiting to receive some of my accessories through the dealership and trying to figure out the charger I need installed at home.

I look forward to the group's advice and guidance on learning the new ways.

It’s definitely a big switch from gas cars but once you get the hang of trip planning and charging it becomes second nature. For a home chargers I’d recommend something like the Emporia Smart EV Charger it’s affordable and works great. If you’re comfortable with a bit of DIY you can save on installation costs too.

Thank you for the encouragement and advice. Since I am not good with electrical things, I hired a contractor to provide an estimate. I will then search for the Emporia Smart EV charger.
