Is anyone here planning on setting up a radar detector in their Honda Prologue? I’ve been using one in my last few cars, and I don’t want to go without one now! I’m looking into which mounts work best, and I’ve seen some people mention that the Blendmount BR7-2001R should fit if your mirror has the right design.

What’s everyone planning to use for their setup? Also, any tips for clean wiring? I’d love to avoid running a cable down to the fuse box if possible!

Seriously? I thought those things went the way of the dodo, right next to dial-up internet and Blockbuster. With Waze around, I figured everyone just blindly followed the little blue line like the rest of us.

That Blendmount BR7-2001R you mentioned is a good starting point, as they're known for their quality. However, "if your mirror has the right design" is key here. Car manufacturers sometimes change mirror styles even within the same model year.

And while you're at it, it's always a good idea to check your local laws about radar detectors. They can be different from place to place.

You can also check DONSLIFE Youtube video. I hope it helps!

Radar detectors are still great, but make sure you check local laws, some states aren’t exactly friendly to them. That said, the Blendmount should work if the Prologue’s mirror design allows it. Mirror tap wiring is the best option for a clean look, but if that’s not possible, using a low-profile wire routing kit along the A-pillar and under the dash keeps things neat.
