Something weird is happening with my Prologue. I set it to charge to 100%, but it keeps showing like 350 miles of range. Even when I set it to 80%, it shows like 275 miles.

I think it might have a bigger battery than they said! Or maybe it's just a glitch. Has anyone else seen this?

I’ve consistently gotten more mileage than the rated range. While we all have the same 85 kW battery, how efficiently it’s used depends on your driving style. For example, driving on the highway at 80 mph is much less efficient than driving around town at 45 mph

Same old story...

Well it sounds like your Prologue's range estimate might be a bit off. EV range calculations are tricky, they depend on tons of things like how you drive, the weather, even your tire pressure. So, the car's computer sometimes gets it wrong. It could just be a software glitch, something that a reset might fix.

You could try holding down the phone button for a system reboot. But if it keeps happening, definitely take it to your Honda dealer. They can check for software updates or maybe recalibrate the battery. While it'd be awesome if you had a secret extra-large battery, it's more likely just a miscalculation. Keep an eye on it, take note of what you're seeing, and don't rely solely on that displayed range for planning long trips. Better safe than sorry you know!

Yeah, that totally makes sense. You're right, so many things can throw them off. A software glitch sounds plausible, especially if it's acting weird. A reset's worth a shot for sure
