When I logged into HondaLink on my phone, Apple sent me a strange message claiming that my password had been compromised. Any ideas?

It’s possible the message was a phishing attempt. I’d avoid clicking on it and instead change your password directly through HondaLink’s website or app. If there’s a real issue, Honda will notify you officially. Phishing scams are very convincing nowadays.

I totally agree with @Dom. Phishing scams love to create that sense of urgency to get you to click on shady stuffs. Defenitely better to be cautious! Also. enabling two-factor authentcation on your accounts, if possible, is a solid move for some extra peace of mind. Good luck!

Hey, I haven't heard a peep about a data breach. If something was up, they'd definitely tell us, right? I'm kinda suspicious of those random warnings anyway. These phishing scams are way too good these days. You click on something that looks real, and bam – your info's gone. I'm just gonna wait for an official letter in the mail if anything happens. They usually offer help with identity theft if there's a real breach.
