My frustration with passive door lock

I tried setting up the passive door locks, but it just won’t stick. I go into the settings, navigate to the passive door lock page, and choose either “On” or “On with Chirp.” But every time I back out, it resets to “Off.” My guts tells me it is a software glitch, has anyone else run into this?
