Like other EV manufacturers in North America, Honda announced they will switch from CCS to NACS (Tesla) chargers in 2025. Ford and Hyundai have already sent NACS to CCS adapters to owners of all EV owners that previously bought EVs from them with CCS ports - for free. An online search shows that the Lectron and A2Z brands are most recommended and run around $250ish. Before I order one, has anyone heard about Honda’s plans, or lack thereof, to support 2024 Prologue owners with NACS to CCS adapters?

AFAIK, Honda hasn't said anything about giving free adapters to 2024 Prologue owners, but I'd keep an eye out for news on that. Since they're switching to that other charging standard in 2025, it would make sense for them to help out the people who bought the Prologue early on.

UPDATE: I saw a press release from Honda yesterday ((Jan 17) saying that they were going to send NACS to CCS1 adapters to all existing Honda EV owners. Great news!
Whate did you see they were giving adapters for free? I haven't seen that but would love it.

I saw it on a YouTube channel called Adam’s Everything EV (he has lots of great Prologue videos). He showed a screenshot of a Honda Press Release, but to be clear, I went to Honda’s website to verify it and I could not find it, however, it might have been a statement from the Honda teat at CES (Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas) rather than a release date tly from Honda. I’ll keep looking for it…
