I recently got my garage door synced up using the remote feature on the infotainment screen of my Honda Prologue, and it’s working like a charm. But I’m wondering, does the Prologue have a physical button on the dash that can be programmed to open the garage door, like some other Honda models?

If anyone knows if this is possible or has found an alternative, please share! It’d be great to have a quick and convenient way to open the garage without going through the screen every time.

You can totally toss an icon up there in the top row of the infotainment, and even better, make it show up only when you're at home. Pretty sure you’ll find that setting hiding under the door opener options.

I set mine up the day I got it. It’s supposed to show up on the top of the dash screen when you get near home. It worked for me for about 2 days and now won’t show up anymore. I’ve deleted the remote and readeed it a few times and have done a factory reset on the whole system and it won’t come back. If you figure it out please share here!

Unfortunately, the Honda Prologue does not have a physical button on the dash that can be programmed to open the garage door.
It's a bit different from some other Honda models that have those HomeLink buttons, often located near the rearview mirror. It seems Honda opted for the integrated approach with the infotainment screen in the Prologue. While some might miss the physical button, the on-screen controls are designed to be user-friendly and accessible.
Perhaps they wanted to keep the dash clean and uncluttered, or maybe it was a cost-saving measure.

See if there's a shortcut in your owner's manual or settings. If not, a small universal remote might be a good idea.
