When I bought my Prologue in December, I asked for Winter Tires. Here’s what they came up with:

Bridgestone P255/65R18 on RWC 6 bolt aluminum rims. No steel wheels were available with this bolt pattern so they had to upgrade me to these black RWC aluminum wheels, which look fantastic.

Verdict:
OUTSTANDING performance in snow and ice! I live in Ottawa, Canada, an hour north of Upstate NY, and we’ve had several huge snow dumps this winter. I used the standard tires for half the winter, and the Winter Rated tires for the rest of the season. The difference in night and day. Upgrading to these dramatically improved my control, safety and confidence substantially.

I’m attaching a photo with the wheel and tire brand, size and winter rating circled. Please pardon the salt covering the wheels :-(

the winter tires made a huge difference! Bridgestone winter tires are solid, but I gotta ask, did you notice any major range loss compared to the stock all-seasons? Some EVs take a noticeable efficiency hit with winter rubber, especially in extreme cold. Either way, those RWC aluminum wheels look great, and function always trumps style when it comes to winter driving.

Nothing unexpected as far as range loss. I had to charge a bit more often on road trips, but it was likely due to cold temperatures more than tires. They are 18”, so less mass to rotate than the all-season 22” tires, which helps a bit. The grip, though… that’s worth a bit of range in snowy climates. Check out the photo of the snowbank that is higher than the car!

I have Blizzaks on mine and preliminary it looks like a 20% mileage hit. kinda sucks but we'll worth it for the snow and ice traction.
