Air not coming out of the rear vents

Check the rear vent to ensure it's not shut - there’s a little wheel that controls the airflow. When I got mine, it was delivered with the vent closed, so it’s definitely worth double-checking!

I’m dealing with the same thing in my car - no airflow from the rear console vents. The floor vents are fine, but I never really noticed since I don’t have passengers back there much. But, of course, they pointed it out recently, and now I’m starting to think maybe the factory threw in a foam plug or something, blocking the vents.

As long as the fan spins, it's doing its job. It's probably one of those little doors that directs the air – they're called actuators. Or maybe something's blocking the air flow in the vents, but that's probably not it.

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried that first and it doesn’t help. Someone on another thread said Hondas don’t use the upper vents for heat, only AC. I’m in Colorado so I haven’t used the AC yet and I’m going to try that next. I have had a Pilot and CRV and don’t remember this but maybe it’s the case.
I believe the rear vents only come on when you select vents blowing towards your head? Fourth from the left on the top row.

No, hot air does come out of the top vents. I don't use auto, I use the top vents and they work great. I'll verify when the back vents come on

This is how mine is set for heat and the only way heat comes out of the back vents. It won't any other setting including auto.
Thanks so much for helping! Are you getting a lot? It does seem like it’s coming out a bit but I needed to stick my ear in front of it to hear it and it’s nothing substantial - so little I can’t feel the heat on my hand if I put my hand in front of it.

I am getting a fair amount. It won't blow you away but is definitely good and warm and good blowing. I don't turn it on high because I haven't needed to. The car warms up nicely.

Following this thread. Thanks for the information. Cold here today in KC (24F). We have to turn the HVAC temp up to at least 78 degrees to get warm air (80 degrees feels better though). Using the recommended settings, I get a decent amount of air flow to the back seats.

Mine does the zame. I'm starting to wonder when we set the temperature for the heat, that is the temperature the heat will blow rather than what the cabin temperature is. If you set the heat at 72 it will blow 72 temp air. If you put it on 80, it'll blow 80° temp air. And on auto, it will go on cabin temperature instead. Unlike my Crv, it would use it like a thermostat.
