Those looking to buy or lease a new Honda Prologue can select from three charging packages included in the MSRP. To meet your specific needs, each package includes a unique combination of public charging credits, charging equipment, and installation credits. Whether you prefer home or public charging, there's a package for you.

I've heard that some dealers do not include chargers with their Prologues; hopefully, we won't end up in one of those.
That's a solid point, @Cj_miles! I would definitely ask the dealer upfront about what is included, especially since it seems like some are skipping out on providing chargers.

You would hate to drive off with a new Prologue only to realize you have got an extra expense just to charge it at home.

Good one, considering the packages even cover costs for faster charging options.

It’s great that Honda’s including charging perks in the MSRP. Have you looked into which package gives the most value? I’d probably lean toward the home charger + installation credit since it saves the most long-term, but the public charging credits could be a win if you road trip a lot.

Here's what Honda shared about the Prologue's charging that I got last year:
  • DC fast charging up to 155 kW - 10 minutes of charging adds 65 miles of range.
  • Charging packages:
    • Home charger (11.5 kW) + $100 public charging + $500 installation
    • Portable charger (7.6 kW) + $300 public charging + $250 installation
    • $750 public charging credit (no home charger)
I'm not sure if these are still the same though.

yes it is - the catch on the installation credit is that you have to get it done through Honda Home Electrification, and mostly the quotes that I've read about are very high. Always worth checking on your local situation, I live in Colorado and Excel will reimburse installation up to $500. My electrician's estimate was right around $4-500, so it'll be no cost to me. And Honda (through Honda Electrification) will ship me the charger free of cost.
