How to turn messages alerts on Prologue

Does anyone know how to turn on message alerts for text messages in the Prologue? I’ve been looking but can’t seem to figure it out. Any tips would be appreciated.

You might need to enable message alerts through CarPlay if you're using it. You can try opening the Settings app within CarPlay, it worked for me when I followed a Google tip.

Here's what you gotta do. Go to Settings on your iPhone, then find 'Siri & Search.' Turn on 'Announce Notifications.' You should see a little bell icon in the top left corner of the screen when it's working. I think it's right below the time.

I’ll try enabling the message alerts through CarPlay settings. I will see if that does the trick and gets notifications working.
