Hey everyone! Is it worth using a Honda 48a home charger rather than installing a 240v wall outlet? I already have the travel charger with both 110v and 240v adapters. Do you know if the 48A charger offers better charging speeds or safety compared to using the wall outlet adapter? Thanks!

We just got the Emporia Level 2 EV Charger installed in our garage. After a firmware fix from Emporia, it seems to be working fine. Last night it charged our 2024 Prologue from 36% to 80% in just under 4 hours.

The 48A charger will definitely offer faster charging speeds compared to a standard 240V wall outlet. It’s also safer since it’s designed for higher amperage and consistent use.

My Emporia Level 2 EV charger works with my Prologue. I chose the hardwire option, because it charges a little faster than the NEMA outlet option.
