Hello Guys. I'm new to EVs and I've got this annoying pulsing light on my dash that I can't figure out. It keeps flashing even when I’ve got the charger unplugged and the car’s just chilling, parked, and locked. The manual is just a mess and isn’t helping at all. Anyone got any clues or tips?

I had the same confusion when I first got my EV. That light had me scratching my head too. You will get used to these little quirks. Good we have a forum like this were when can ask for help.

This is what the lights mean

  • Red: Security system is active.
  • Blue: Charging handshake is in progress.
  • Green: Vehicle is actively charging.

How do you find any and charging stations in NJ and NY that will charge the Prologue? Do they have to be EVgo stations? Should I use 100kw chargers or 350kw chargers? Thanks in advance!

Hey Rumson! Welcome to the group!
I'm not in the area, but I'm sure there are plenty of suitable chargers in your area. Pretty much any charger can work (you'll need to purchase an adaptor to connect to the Tesla Superchargers), but you'll need to typically download an app for the specific charging network (EVgo, ChargePoint, Tesla, Rivian, etc.) to get current information on the charger locations, speeds, and status (available, down for maintenance, currently in use, etc.). The faster chargers (250 kW +) will let you charge faster, but I've never seen my Prologue charger faster than ~ 100 kW and the speeds will typically drop as you charge up.
If I'm on the road, I try to avoid chargers rated below 50kW.

You'll have it all figured out in no time! (BTW - you posted in response to another unrelated post. Next time, just start a new post).
Good Luck!
