Dual cruise control options in the Prologue

Cruise is standard on all Hondas with ACC. I believe he said something about pressing the "set" button or something to switch between the steering wheel's modes. Since I live in Southern California, I have never given much thought to the slippery situations issue. However, you ought to test it...

How do I open my prologue's tailgate from inside?

Did you find it @sillygoose? @CosmicComet is right, it should be on the driver's door panel, towards the back, down near the drink holder on the door.

    Prologue memory entry seat issue

@Dom That’s a bummer. Did they give you an update or maybe options to address your concern?

How to turn messages alerts on Prologue

Here's what you gotta do. Go to Settings on your iPhone, then find 'Siri & Search.' Turn on 'Announce Notifications.' You should see a little bell icon in the top left corner of the screen when it's working. I think it's right below the time.

Air not coming out of the rear vents

As long as the fan spins, it's doing its job. It's probably one of those little doors that directs the air – they're called actuators. Or maybe something's blocking the air flow in the vents, but that's probably not it.

Left steering wheel music skip button not working intermittently

@BellaCars2013 Could be a loose connection, dirty button, software glitch in the infotainment, phone connection issue (if using CarPlay), or wiring problem in the steering wheel. Try cleaning the button, restarting the infotainment, checking your phone connection. If it's still acting up, bring...

    climate control

It's crazy how we can get fixated on these things! My side of the car was nice and toasty, but the passenger side just wasn't as warm. Then I remembered seeing people online talking about HVAC problems in these cars, and I started to worry. I really love how the heated steering wheel, seats...

Electric vehicle sound even when not moving

You might hear a fan running in your electric car even after you turn it off. That's normal! It's there to keep the battery and motor cool. These fans usually kick in after you drive or while it's charging to prevent overheating. It's usually just for a short time and happens automatically.

    Data breach

Hey, I haven't heard a peep about a data breach. If something was up, they'd definitely tell us, right? I'm kinda suspicious of those random warnings anyway. These phishing scams are way too good these days. You click on something that looks real, and bam – your info's gone. I'm just gonna wait...

Google Assistant, maps, and native app store stop working

Yeah, I've been having some trouble with the car's network connection. The dealer basically said to wait for an update. It's kinda hit or miss, so when it goes out, I just switch to CarPlay.

    Strange behavior during charging

My son's car does the same thing. Sounds like he needs to turn off that preconditioning stuff. Does anyone know where you actually turn that off? Is it in the car itself, or is it something you do in the app? Or maybe both?

    Touchscreen issues

Remove any screen protectors. Clean the screen with a solvent like alcohol to remove any wax, polish, or residue. Show it to the dealer. Hopefully, it glitches while they're there.

Prologue Locked Itself with Key Fob Inside

You can also unlock it with the HondaLink app. Mine actually locked itself with the keys inside – they were in the center console!

    Phone charger problem

My son's phone usually charges fine, but sometimes it pops up with this weird message saying to check for something metal on the charger.

    Honda Prologue Charging Options

Do you have a 240-volt outlet in your garage/parking area? If so, what's the breaker size? 40 amps or 50 amps? My portable charger requires a 40-amp service, while the wall-mounted charger needs a 50-amp service.

    Using key card

The key card is already linked to your car. Just tap it on the door handle and you've got 2 minutes to start it up. But heads up, this feature is exclusive to the Elite trim.

You gotta try PlugShare for finding chargers – it's awesome! And never use ABRP.

    Prologue Range Estimates Fluctuating

Yeah, I've had that happen too. If the range is gonna be off, I'd rather it err on the side of caution and show less battery than I actually have.

Using Google Maps for Prologue Road Trips

Try putting your home address in the GPS and then add a stop where you're going. That should give you a rough idea of how much battery you'll need to get back home.

    Red light on dash,

Hit the OnStar button and give them a call. They can run some kind of test on your car from their end and tell you what's wrong. They'll even email you the results so you can tell the dealer what the code is. You should definitely get this checked out at the service center soon. This happened to...
